We put on our red, white, and blue for a fun day out at the Rutledge resort for the 4th. We swam, ate delicious burgers, corn on the cob, and potato salad too. Then, we did sparklers and Uncle William lit some pretty amazing BIGTIME fireworks! Ours actually rivaled the "professional" show at the near-by soccer fields. (We got to watch those too from the comfort of the front porch.) Anyway, Aunt Victoria took some amazing pix of us "writing" in the air with sparklers. Aside from the 104 degree heat, it was a super-fun night for all of us!

The girls were a little frightened of the "poppers" at first, but soon loved throwing them down with gusto!
Daddy actually had the day off--so, he got in on the spakler fun too!
