Shortly after mother's day and father's day, the girls asked me: "when is kids day!?" I told them every day is kids day! They were not amused. So, we quickly established "Sister Day" in the Cutrer house. On sister day, they get breakfast of their choice and maybe breakfast in bed. They also secretly buy one another a gift. Abigail bought Lexi sunglasses and her very own Little Mermain pens. Lexi bought Abbey some bubble bath and shimmer lotion. They wrapped the gifts themselves. (very cute--lots of tape.) For this first annual "Sister Day" mommy and daddy decided to get them a gift--Big Sister and Little Sister necklaces from James Avery. It was a lovely day. The girls were (mostly) sweet to each other all day--saying things like "Happy Sister Day Sissy." I am glad we've established this tradition and I hope that the girls will always celebrate Sister Day together. :-)
Ooo! A gift from mom and dad!
Look, Lexi, it says: Little Sister!
We love each other!!!
Look at you practically on a blogging spree! What a fabulous tradition. I love it!
