On the day before my birthday, my sweet, wonderful, amazing husband, and two of our bestest friends planned a little surprise celebration at Miller Outdoor Theatre--Shakespeare In the Park! Plus, a lovely picnic dinner complete with fancy cups, flowers in a vase, and six different cheeses on a cutting board! I felt so spoiled and special. The play was awesome, the night was cool for Houston in August and it was another cherished evening with the Petersons!

Steve and DianaOn my actual birthday, (08/08!) our whole family headed to the Astro's game! Papa and Yaya took us to dinner and William and Victoria (as part of a church choir) sang the National Anthem for the opening of the game! It was a fun way to spend my birthday evening with the fam!
