Vail!!!

Some dear friends of my dad's, own a condo in Vail. They have generously allowed us to go up and stay there--several summers and winters when I was a child and then again, this past August. I loved getting to show Bill and the girls all around town and share my childhood memories with them.

This might as well be Jonathan and me since we used to play Monopoly on the carpet in that very spot--but it's not--it's Abigail and Alexis on some sort of stuffed raindeer: a requirement for Colorado condos I guess.

Bill just hangin' out. The condo has had a face-lift since I was last there (16 years ago!), but everything is in the exact same spot!

Their building is called The Edelweiss--like from Sound of Music! Here are the girls posing with Gampy!

Right away, we walked over to "Pirate Park." This place was awesome when I was a kid, but now, it's totally re-done and has even more "Piratitude" than before! Arrr! Here's Abigail posing at the front of the ship.
